Entities are irAuthor's primary data structures, made up of fields, collections, calculations, classifications, notifications, and actions.
📄️ Working with Entities
Add an entity from the Entities icon in irAuthor's navigation pane, and rename it from the Entity Detail Pane.
📄️ Working with Fields
Fields are an entity's input elements, holding values from the calling application or user input, unlike dependency-driven calculations.
📄️ Working with Calculations
Calculations are always-on rules that automatically recompute when a field, calculation, or rule they depend on changes.
📄️ Working with Collections
The Collection element defines a parent entity's relationship to its child entities or local complex structures, via the Data Type dropdown.
