A new version of Author Studio has been released. The following updates have been made to the product as well as additional minor bug fixes and security updates.

Improvements​

New Actions and Rules available

The following actions are now available in Author Studio:

  • Clear Collection This action allows you to clear all members of a collection. For more information, see the article Author Studio Actions. Clear Collection.png

  • Execute REST Service The Execute REST Service action allows you to pull in data from a REST resource during the rule execution. For more information, see the article Author Studio Actions. Execute REST service.png

  • For Each The For Each rule allows you to execute one or more child rules against each collection member. For more information, see the article Rules. For Each.png

Bug Fixes​

Unable to check in Rule Application​

Error​

When a user created and duplicated an ELSE IF block with an unsupported action and then attempted to check in the rule application, they received a pop-up message saying, "Unable to check in Rule Application 'name' not found in Author Studio."

Fix​

It is not possible to duplicate an ELSE IF block that contains an unsupported action.
